Bio
Hello! My name is Carolyn Lee Carpenter and I am a Special Education Resource Teacher! I grew up in Prattville and went to high school at Autauga Academy. I completed my undergraduate program at Jacksonville State University where I earned a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology in 2017. I graduated from Grand Canyon University where I received my Master of Education in Special Education in 2020. I also received my Instructional Leadership Degree from UWA in 2024.
I love living in Autauga County and serving its people as a teacher. I have been married to my husband, Austin Carpenter, for 5 years. He is also a teacher here at MHS. He is an assistant football and baseball coach. I am the Varsity Cheer Coach, JV Softball Coach, and the SGA Co-Sponsor. I run the Bulldog Boutique Clothing store, located inside MHS. This is a free boutique for all students to shop at during the school day. We offer clothes, shoes, hygiene items, school supplies, and accessories.
My husband and I are dedicated to this town and its people. I believe in your student and their ability to be successful here at Marbury High School. If you have any questions or concerns, please reach out to me via email or by calling the school. Thank you for all you do as a parent/ guardian, I can see your hard work and dedication in your child. Go Bulldogs!
